The Designer for Toulemonde Bochart
Reda Amalou is an architect and a designer. He graduated at the University of East London. Reda Amalou Founded AW2 in 1997, an architecture and interiors company.
He developed the company into a high-end design office recognized across the world and has received extensive international press coverage and awards: Best Hotel Design Travel and Leisure, Best Hotel MIPIM award, Green Good design Chicago Museum of Architecture…
With AW2, he has developed architecture, interiors as well as furniture designs thus, lead him to create its own furniture and accessories collection under his own name: Reda Amalou Design.
The collection combines elegance, simplicity and sobriety while giving a strong sense of luxury. Each piece defines its own space; the lines are pure and expressive. The materials used range from leather to bronze and walnut, which rich deep textures.
The local dimension of our projects is extremely important. We worked in nearly 30 countries worldwide and what is interesting is to come with an open mind… To bring our knowledge, but also to learn from what we see and discover there.
Reda Amalou has contributed to the collections of contemporary rugs Toulemonde Bochart since 2012. He works on sober and fine graphics in the harmony with his perception of design. His latest design was inspired by the work of the french Arts décoratifs masters, Lines II – Fluid rug.
Reda is also involved in projects for industrials manufacturers. He has designed a glass and water jug line for Baccarat, signed a limited edition of “This is not a vase” for Veronese and he is currently preparing projects for Bagues.
