The Designers Les Héritiers
The Designer for Toulemonde Bochart
The meeting of two enthusiasts: Pierre Dubois and Aimé Cécil Noury
The company Les Héritiers was founded in 1993. The duo of founders is characterized by their strong influence of tradition. Strongly involved in the preservation of traditional manufacturing techniques, les Héritiers prioritize French expertise and collaborate with many traditional ateliers. Les Héritiers currently collaborate with 15 ateliers. These collaborations help to perpetuate and promote the traditional french know-how. In the beginning of each new partnership Les Héritiers spend several days in the atelier to discover the technical possibilities and estimate the potential development.
We are involved in creative imagination but our memory is our best image library and source of inspiration.
Les Héritiers are engaged in many public and private projects. They imagined the entire concept and decoration of the Strato Hotel located in Courchevel sky resort in France. The hotel was awarded the most beautiful hotel of 2010 by Hotel & Lodge magazine. They also redesigned the concept of Tartine et Chocolat stores, a french luxury brand for children.
Involved in creating the concepts of new classics at Roche Bobois, they also design lightings for Fondica et Kotska, candles for Point à la Line, fabrics for Grain de Couleur…
Designed for Toulemonde Bochart, the Serenissime rug represents perfectly their vision. The rug is inspired by the rigor and richness of the pavements in Venetian renaissance churches. This pattern reflects passing time.
Pierre Dubois and Aimé Cécil Noury introduce their first hotel in Paris in the heart of the Latin Quarter. This chic 4 star boutique hotel will open its doors at the beginning of December 2015.
We like to tell the stories through our work. The Lantern hotel is an image we had of Paris and its lanterns, street lamps that mark neighborhoods, monuments, eras… It is thanks to our collaboration with a contemporary artist and photographer that the adventure to walk the guests through these Parisian symbols was born.
